"Affordable comfort and convenience with old world charm!"

The Convent is conveniently located in Hay and we’ve stayed there a number of times when travelling by car, interstate, from Adelaide. We’ve found the rooms spacious, beds always comfortable, and great showers! The venue has a good system for checking in and we’ve experienced prompt responses to any queries or requests.

We would have loved the cafe to still be in operation. It’s such a convenient spot to be able to have an early breakfast before you head out on the next leg of your trip. Of course, the location offers suggestions for meals, like the Riverina Hotel on Lachlan Street where we had dinner; and it was very good! We understand they offer breakfast too!

"Chapel Room, The Convent"

The Convent was a pleasant surprise of old world charm with modern facilities. Very good instructions on how to access a very comfortable room. My husband said it was the most comfortable bed he'd experienced out of home. Mattress is firm, Bed is huge and room is enormous!

The room was very spacious, very clean. The bathroom was roomy, towels fluffy and soft. The bed was very comfortable
