The Kilchrenan Inn

The Inn exceeded my expectations. Our room was wonderful. It was big and immaculately clean. Bed was very comfortable. Food was delicious and all the staff were welcoming and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had the most incredible stay at the Kilchrenan Inn. We booked due to the close proximity to a wedding we were attending at the village hall. I had a meal alone for the first night, and the person checking me in gave me a little table out of the way of the locals where I ate the scotch egg and mussels. I was blown away by the quality and enjoyed both equally. The breakfast (where do you get your haggis and black pudding from?!) was so delicious! And much needed whilst we helped with the preparations for the wedding and the poorly heads the next day. On to the room, we stayed in the double room, which included a bathroom with a proper bath and beautiful Arran Aromatics. They smelled so good! Lots of storage to hang our posh clothes in with compartments for shoes, clothes etc. The double bed was super comfortable, and we slept well both nights. Out the window, you can see horses galloping up the hill - so sweet! Parking was easy too with lots of spaces out the front. The best part was the staff. You really felt at home here. They seemed interested in what we were up to and made me feel comfortable to be dining alone. In the two nights we stayed, we saw an eagle, a heron, a stag walked across our path as we drove home one night, a pine martin and a red squirrel all within 20 minutes of the inn. Such a special place Thank you so much for a special stay - we couldn't have asked for a better trip and wish we could have stayed longer - would recommend to anyone visiting the area

Everything! The food was exceptional, the rooms were fabulous with great beds and the staff were fantastic. Our stay couldn't have been any better. They even made us "to go packs" with croissants and butter and jam because we had to leave before they served breakfast in the morning. Exceptional care and customer service.

Wir blieben für eine Nacht auf unserem Weg in die High Lands. Das Zimmer hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Leider war der Pub geschlossen, aber diese Information haben wir im Voraus erhalten. Es kam also nicht überraschend und wir waren vorbereitet. Wir haben von den Gastgebern gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants in der Umgebung erhalten. Die sind leider nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. We stayed for one night on our way to the High Lands. The room fully met our expectations. Unfortunately, the pub was closed, but we had been informed of this in advance. So it wasn't a surprise, and we were prepared. Our hosts gave us good recommendations for restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, these are only accessible by car.

Der Pub ist ausgesprochen gut bewertet. Montags und Dienstags hat er leider geschlossen, sodass wir uns davon nicht überzeugen konnten The pub has extremely good reviews. Unfortunately it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we couldn't test it ourselves.

Quiet location, very cute inn. Very cosy, clean room and comfy bed.

Pub and restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesdays - we would not have booked if we had known.
