Gasthaus Engel Hasle

I need a night's stay to get to a job the next morning in the next town over, but they were all booked. So was lucky to get a room here and for a very reasonable price. The staff helped me with my heavy luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. I was assigned the upper corner double room. It was spacious and impeccably clean, with a view of the church. Though it's a small village, the main road outside is frequented by heavy vehicles during the day - windows have good noise insulation and at night, it's totally silent. The only store is next to the guest house. It's a compact mini store with a bakery. Was able to get by with a few items for my gluten-free vegan diet. Read that the lodging has excellent food. I had a comfortable stay.

Wish there was a kettle in the room for tea/coffee (not sure if there was access for one - didn't see on the listing).

Das Frühstück war sehr frisch und reichhaltig. Die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend. Der Preis für das Zimmer ist sehr grosszügig.

En bord d'une route passante et éloigné des centres d'intérêt. Nous n'avons pas souhaité prendre les petits déjeuners en raison du prix. Le restaurant était très bon mais le choix limité et là aussi nous avons trouvé le prix élevé pour des plats sommes toutes communs
