Amazing breakfast provided from the host from local products!

Everything about this place is perfect. Marco is an amazing host who makes you feel at home. His place is on top of the hill with a stunning view. Big and comfortable bad, also the shower is super nice and clean. The breakfast is great. And all is in a 15th century house well preserved.

The location is amazing. Located on the top of a little hill on the outskirts of Viano, the house is surrounded by beautiful nature. Often in the mornings you can see deer grazing on the front lawn. Marco is an amazing host. His kindness and hospitality will make your stay memorable. Highly recommend this place.

Very peaceful, from the heart of the people and the place

It was absolutely gorgeous and full of little touches that made it feel really special. Marco was a wonderful host, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, the beds were super comfortable. The house smelled so lovely and each detail was really cared for! One of my favorite places I have ever stayed, I absolutely recommend for any couples or anyone looking for a charming, cozy, amazingly relaxed getaway.

We had the same wonderful experience already highlighted by previous guests. The owners of the property were amazing. Marco greeted us with local wine and specialities tasting. He helped us with reservation and suggestions for an excellent dinner in local restaurant. On Sunday morning Marco took us to his friend Ivan, the local owner of the Parmigiano Reggiano production enterprise. He spent an hour of his precious time presenting us in detail the entire process of producing of this famous Italian cheese. What an enjoyable tour around the production facility it was! The breakfast at the property is superb and offers rich variety of fresh local products, warmfully served by Fracesca. The property location is great for one day trips to Torrechiara or Bologna (which we did both) as well to Modena and Reggio Emilia. If you fall in love with the property completely and do not want to breakaway, you can take scenic hiking around countryside hills or visit a nearby castle. In short, a perfect weekend getaway with a human touch.

If you prefer relaxing evenings at the property garden, bring additional clothes protecting you from mosquitoes. The rooms could benefit from a bit more sound proof insulation. Nonetheless, the charming 16th century property is calm and quiet.

The location is in a hilly area, the views are spectacular. The building and property is gorgeous, and the hosts are truly the best. They gave us recommendations on nearby towns, made a dinner reservation, and were generally so welcoming. The breakfast was 10/10, our favorite part of each day
