Landlord’s dogs allowed to romp free in dining room, causing general chaos on occasion. One of them was clearly very nervous and an aggressive barker. (Hilariously, the inn instructs guests to keep their dogs on lead at all times) Earliest time for cooked breakfast was 9am, too late for us, and not explained at time of booking. Plumbing a bit dodgy with the macerator in our bathroom repeatedly going rogue. The curry was good.

GBKatie, the person on duty during our stay, was very welcoming and helpful. Took our bags upstairs, managed to get a table in the dining room, earlier than we'd booked. Highly recommend this country pub, nestled in the Dale's, near Kirkby Lonsdale
For us, the Pub was exactly what we hoped for, will try and visit again
