GBGBCharming building and surroundings ! Katie , an excellent member of staff , knowledgeable, polite , showing an ‘ I can do ‘ attitude is definitely an asset for the business. The breakfast, cooked with local products was nice made by a young chef .
The interior is in need of minimal modernisation as you feel going back in time . That will help to highlight some eclectic decorative pieces from around the building.
GBVery friendly welcome to us and our dog. Lovely light airy room with views over the fells. Delicious homemade food. Used by the locals so good atmosphere in the bar. Excellent base for our walking holiday. Would return.

GBSuperb location in Yorkshire Dales, Lovely breakfast, marvellous staff, very friendly customers in the bar, who accepted my wife and I, and made us feel part of the village.
