We stayed in one of the suites which was absolutely gorgeous. One of the nicest rooms for style, comfort and size we have ever stayed in.

An historic property in a beautiful location. Very comfortable and clean room. Great service from friendly staff. Pub does not serve food on Sunday evening but they saved us roast from lunch.

Noise from bar downstairs especially when locals were leaving but that’s what you get when you stay in a pub!

Wir waren hier zum Abschluss einer Autorundreise durch England und haben uns sehr wohl gefüllt. Die Pension ist sehr ruhig gelegen, umgeben von wunderschöner Natur. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Betten, Frühstück und Abendessen im kleinen Restaurant waren Spitze. Sogar liebevoll gemachte Lunchpakete für unsere Tagesausflüge. Sehr zu empfehlen.

"Exactly what we were hoping it would be!"

Unfortunately we had a very early start so missed breakfast however went back to get some lunch after work and before our drive home. We got rolls and then couldn’t resist a slice of the fresh coffee cake. We’d had pizzas the night before too. Everything was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend! Staff were all super friendly and helpful!

Loved it. Quaint little village. Food amazing. Fab Italian chef. Host / owner was brilliant. We had a lovely evening of food a few drinks . Relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was ok. Different lady served breakfast , not great, not sure if hospitality is her forte. No smiles complete opposite atmosphere to previous night. Shame really. . Rooms lovely . Would Def return
