The welcome and location. The bar downstairs was what I expected (just right)

The room. just old, the carpets are old and stained, the lampshade and four bulbs in it am only one was working. The net curtains were heavily stained. it looked like blood.

The bed was comfy

The property is old and tired, the en suite bathroom is basically a caravan bathroom put into the bedroom. Location is not great

Very dirty room and hallways. Hilarious bathroom which is actually a cupboard with cabin shower and toilet almost like s touring caravan bathroom. Net curtains which were grey with dirt and not even the right length, we stayed for one night but only spent a total of 5 hours in the room. Got up and left as early as possible. We are all up for budget hotels as long as they are clean but this is our worst experience

The whole experience from checking in ,Which was in the bar the young lady was lovely who checked us in ,But absolutely no privacy whilst checking in our details. Overall how dirty everything was

Location was perfect and staff in the bar was very pleasant when we picked keys up at 5pm but then had to leave returning to room around 9 30pm that evening after a very long and emotional day.

Stairwell had cigarette butt's on it and wasn't very clean. Heating was on full in the room it was so hot. Light didn't work in bathroom just a small light above mirror. There was only 2 rooms in our little corridor but also a fire exit door people cutting through right through to 4am in the morning (VERY NOISY) doors being left to close on their own accord banging shut.

Absolutely shocking carpet so dirty I couldn't tell you what colour it was. Electrics hanging off wall

Centrally located in lower stondon, vintage fittings. Room fitted with bathroom cubicle. Not listed, but nevertheless good example of architectural heritage. Could benefit from secondary glazing or net curtains and heavier winter curtains to offset heatloss. All the staff were more than pleasant, my experience was value for money. Many thanks

It was cheap and was local to where I needed to be.

The room was not clean. Stained carpet and bed base. Shower / toilet cubicle was small. Windows was old and draughty. Noise from other rooms and road. Also band was playing so no piece until they stopped playing to there audience of two.

The location was ideal as it was close to the Crematorium as I was attending a funeral. There was no restaurant so no evening meal or Breakfast, the bedding and towels were clean. the staff were helpful and friendly.

The whole place needs a thorough deep clean and renovation plus redecorating and new carpets as they were very dirty and marked, the doors were difficult to unlock and the windows did not close fully as they were old metal and rusty, the mattress had no mattress cover and I came home with insect bites all down my arm after sleeping in the room,
