Penginapan Sedap Malam

The owner of the homestay and his family and friends were very kind and a lot of fun. We had dinner with them where they put their freshly caught fish on the bbq, it was delicious and they didn't even charge us for it!! The homestay has a beautiful garden and it's quiet since it is not on the main road. Comfy bed and a lot of space! Breakfast was so good!! And the snorkling was beautiful.

It would be nice to have a sink in the bathroom, although there was one outside. We booked a dolphin tour without looking up on it before and it turned out to be not eco friendly.. dolphins were being chased by 10+ boats including ours. It would be good if there was more awareness, so that in the future these tours wouldn't harm the dolphins and be more eco friendly.

Everything! We got there a bit early but the room was ready, the room was clean and spacious. We put our stuff down and went to the bar with the owner Kadek. As soon as we sat down he was climbing a tree to get us some fresh fruit. Him and his family were very hospitable. He organised all the tours we wanted through his friends so they were at very good prices, he also organised our transfer to Ubud on which we also had a mini tour of waterfalls and sights on the way there. I could speak for a long time on how much I recommend this home stay but I don’t think I have enough characters here. 10/10

Lovely people! Clean accommodation

One of the highlights of my trip. Lovely open kitchen / social area. Kadek is a superb host. Had a chance to witness some ceremony preparations with the whole family, awesome experience!

It is the best quality/price you can find in Lovina. The owners are amazing, they helped us with everything while we were there. We did the dolphins tour with them, rented motorbike, got taxi to and from there, laundry, everything you need in one place! Also, they placed us in a better room that what we paid for (without charging extra) and that was amazing considering that the “better” room has a normal toilet and not one in the floor like the cheaper room.

You don’t have hot shower there, but it is a common thing in Bali, and the water is not so cold so it is fine

I had a wonderful stay with the hosts who are really nice. There are some activities proposed like the famous dolphin cruise, Balinese cooking classes, temple visits, etc. It is possible to rent motorcycles. There are also coconuts and pomelos in the garden! The atmosphere is warm, the evenings are lively: the place is perfect for backpackers looking for meetings and good advice.

If your priority is only comfort, you should know that the rooms are quite sober and simple.

There was a kitchen you can use to cook, the hosts were very nice ! There are different priced rooms, we picked the budget room. We got a nice breakfast and tea in the morning. Some lovely coconuts also!

the location was tricky to find, when we arrived I realised the budget room was cold water shower only which was annoying. there was no warm water in the budget room shower, the room was very outdated and the bed was t very comfy but with the cheap price I couldn’t complain.
