I was very positively impressed. I reserved the accommodation as a cheaper option for the very pricey alternatives close to the city center, but I was not disappointed with the quality. 25-minute walk from the city center, on top of a nice Chinese restaurant. Even though it is by a main road, the rooms were quite silent. Rooms were big. Nothing super fancy, but still very comfy, with a very good shower. The owner was super nice and kept the kitchen open a little over lunchtime to make sure we could eat. They have a little coffee room and a nice breakfast. I would definitely come back.

Lovely Chinese dinner when we arrived. Good breakfasts. Although the rooms were dated, we enjoyed being back in the 1970's, comfortable and excellent bed.

We missed having a lift to go to the rooms. However the check-in receptionist kindly moved us to a first floor room, and we managed the stairs slowly.

Location and staff service were excellent. Bus stop outside the hotel and easily connected to all destinations ,15 mins from the main train station. No elevator but rooms were spacious,nice, basic and clean. Some had balconies and some big windows.We had a room with a big window and Mountain view . Going for daily excursions was very convinient. The outside views from the hotel are amazing. A very nice and popular bar and Chinese restaurant here which was always full with tourists and locals . Every staff member we interacted with was polite and helpful. Unlimited self Tea/coffee service available . Small fridges also kept in the common area on the first floor. You can bring your own food from Coop/Migros etc and request for microwaving.

Breakfast was basic and continental,could have some hot options. No lifts for upper floors. No personal hot kettle in rooms but one common kettle and water jugs are always available on the first floor in the common area. No front entrance after 10 p.m. You will get code access from the back door to enter the hotel. It was a little inconvenient but manageable

Friendly with great restaurant nice and clean with comfy beds
