Exactly what I was looking for. The rooms were clean, spacious, and simple. The front property was very beautiful plants and trees. The host was very kind and responsive. We were also given a decent amount of water for us to drink. There were some good restaurants in the area or walk to 711 (about 15min) where there's some good food choices at the evening market. The start of the driveway for Crazy Horse is also about 15 min walk. All in all good!

We were there on a special religious day so when we arrived there was nobody there to let us in. We called the owner who was at the temple & who eventually sent someone to come & open up our room. Water was closed off while the owners were out so we had to wait to flush the toilet & shower until 16 pm. That’s not a problem to us but maybe would have been nice if we had received a message beforehand telling us not to come check-in before 4pm. We never got to meet the owner or any other staff cause we were alone in the hotel & left leaving the key on the door. Felt a bit weird not seeing anyone but we had a very pleasant stay :)

For a climber, this place is fantastic. Easy walk to crazy horse, Jira restaurant for delicious cheap meals, 7 eleven and Skugga Farm for nice coffee and fresh bread. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountain. We had a fridge and the bed was very comfortable. The place has a lovely feel with the nice garden. Owner organised transport for us to the hot springs so we could take the local bus from there back to Chiang Mai. Would definitely stay again.
