Pousada Refugio de Paraty

A pousada é limpa e o ar-condicionado funciona perfeitamente. A única coisa que me incomodou foi que a janela dá acesso apenas à parte interna, o que impede visualizar como está o tempo do lado de fora

Quarto cheiro , limpeza impecável! Ótimo custo benefício, tinha tudo oque precisávamos um quarto, uma cama, ar condicionado e coberta cheirosa! E todos os dias pela manhã um cafezinho preto e um bolo muito gostoso como mimo aos clientes que a Camila oferece!! Recomendo para quem só procura um quarto excelente! Amamos!! Só gratidão a Camila que é muito atenciosa!

Amazing place near Funchal city centre! The apartment was spacious, super clean and it had everything we needed. The parking spot was such an amazing thing to have. Extra points for the stunning view we had from our balcony 10/10!!

Attractive courtyard

Paying for the room was complex, since this was the only establishment we encountered in Brazil that had difficulty with our credit card. We tried multiple different credit cards. We were told to cancel the booking.com reservation and pay in cash, but we were leery of doing that since our reservation was described as being non-refundable and didn't want to end up having to pay for the reservation twice (once on site and once from booking.com). By paying the credit card price (including credit card fees, which were not waived despite our request) using cash, we paid more than we anticipated due to high ATM fees. It was also difficult due to the language difference and the fact that the hotel cost was more than our max ATM withdrawal amount.

Clean room and bath, air conditioning and little fridge in room.

Nothing.

Great location. Fresh sheets and towels.

A lot of bugs, looked like it hadn’t been properly hoovered or cleaned for a while
