"A beautiful pub filled with beautiful people"

Forth time back here now, it’s a yearly event. The staff are all amazing and all the locals so so friendly. A real village country pub. The food is excellent and the surroundings beautiful

"Convenient stay just off the Offa's Dyke Walk in a thriving community run pub."

The evening meal. The location within the village.

The breakfast wasn't very substantial. I understand why they were unable to provide a cooked breakfast as it was a community run pub but we were on a walking holiday so a big breakfast is an essential!

Lovely place and the rooms were clean,very comfortable bed

No hot water at the wash basins no central heating,heating only worked for about 3 hours for 1 day, could not control shower in room1either red hot or cold

A repeat visit as we try to stay every December. A comfortable studio flat with good facilities and in a beautiful tranquil village. Staff very helpful and a pub downstairs (but quiet). We are the wrong days Mon to Wed) for pub food but a food van arrives on a Tuesday evening with 'wild food' and the venison was lovely.

There were some problems with the timing of the heating which came on rather early and turned off about 8pm but I think was a time clock problem probably after a power cut. I'm sure it will have been quickly solved.
