The room was exceptionally clean — everything was spotless. It was great being able to put Netflix on the TV for the kids after a long, busy day. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, which made it much easier getting the kids cleaned up after a muddy day out. A lovely room overall — we were very happy with our stay, and it was great value for money.

We had a very lovely stay overall and really enjoyed the experience. There were just a few minor things that could be improved. We couldn’t close the blind on the roof window, and with it being summer, the sunlight woke us — including our young children — around 5am. A microwave would also have been helpful for warming simple food. In addition, there were only two bowls provided even though the room accommodates four people, so we had to wash bowls between breakfasts for cereal in the morning.

Very clean and comfortable with decent facilities and several good coffee shops, pubs and restaurants in immediate neighbourhood. Nearby private parking was a bonus.

Room was under a slate roof and was very hot. Window could only be partially opened.

Incredibly comfy in a great location. Loved the little alley way leading up to it. Great room and great facilities. A little can go a long way! Ideal for walking the Cheviot Hills and other local areas of interest. Will be returning!

The room was bigger than expected, and very comfortable. The location was also good, just off the street and quiet.
