Pousada Sanhaço

Good breakfast, helpful staff, good location very close to the beach, comfy room.

Air conditioner from the room next to us was very loud.

Location is great and it is quiet at night. Nice hot showers.

The hotel is very basic, but good value for money. The staff don’t speak English nor Spanish but with google translate you will be fine. Breakfast was great!

Lovely staff - didn’t speak English but no issues (and they shouldn’t need to!), room was everything we needed and very sweet, was lovely to have a balcony. Room is relatively small but has everything - air con, fridge, TV (with access to English Tv programmes), storage and safe. Breakfast is basic but again everything needed: toast, baguettes, coffee and juices, cheeses etc and fresh fruit. PLEASE NOTE: this property has the old Brazilian 2 pin plug sockets - the new 3 pin plugs don’t work! you can get adapters or 2 pin USB plugs which we got and worked fine.

Wi-Fi was a bit weak in the bedroom but expected for a remote island!
