O Sitio - Ilha Grande

Paradise! The most beautiful place I've stayed at in Ilha Grande. Nature is at the center of the concept. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Perfect blend of simplicity and luxury. Breakfast is fantastic.

The whole staff was super lovely and very helpful, the food and breakfast were great and the overall location of O Sitio was very beautiful, secluded while still central enough to reach other beaches and the main town.

The most stunning location to stay in. The gardens are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Right on a beautiful beach, which has a few bars and restaurants on, just round the bay from Abraão, which you can taxi boat too. Or a half an hour walk through the jungle, although I wouldn’t do this u less your prepared. Its a much nicer beach than the one in Abraão. The staff are so amazing and accommodating, you can whatsapp them any thing. particularly loved Amanda, she made us feel so welcome and special. Amazing beac service, food and drinks brought to you when ever you want. Breakfast buffet every morning, can eat dinner with them also if you choose. It really felt like true Paradise and relaxation!! I would recommend to everyone visiting Ilha Grande.

not a negative, just want to warn you to bring cash to the island as there is no cash point and you cannot get taxi boats without cash.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in. It is not just a hotel, it is an experience. The location between the beach and the rainforest, the sea, the quality of the room and the food. And, the most important : the kindness of the staff. I had problems with the transfer reservation from Rio to Abraao, and they did everything they could to help me solve the problem.

It's the perfect place to chill, relax or have an adventure on Ilha Grande. First I have to mention the staff and the owners. This place is run with a big heart and in good taste. We felt more like best friends than customers. The staff help you every day, organize trips, explain the island and advise what to eat. It was a real pleasure to spend time with these people. The hotel is perfectly located. Close to the main city from which many trips can be made. The place is cozy and not crowded. It has access to the beach with private equipment such as umbrellas, chairs, kayak, sup and more. On the beach there is also very nice staff who can bring something to eat and drink, and also help with water equipment. Our room was basic but very comfortable, clean and with a really big bed. The bathroom has good quality cosmetics for daily use. We didn't have comfortable garden furniture (only two hard chairs) but enjoyed spending time in the common area with lots of nice furniture to chill in (hammocks and sofas). The hotel has a small restaurant that prepares a rich and tasty breakfast. You can also have lunch or dinner there. Also in the neighborhood is a great restaurant with very tasty food. Finally, about the garden, it is beautiful and well-kept. The hotel is located directly in the forest and the garden is part of it. He is very well prepared to spend a nice time and not artificial.

This is one of the most idyllic places I’ve stayed in my life and definitely the best place to stay in Ilha Grande. The property makes you feel like you are in your own private façenda or country home in Brazil with both natural jungle beauty as well as a pristine beach. The beach at Abraãozinho is like a private swimming pool, calm and gorgeous. The food is delicious and the attention of the staff is unlike many other places, personalized, kind and responsive. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return with our larger family.

We loved everything! If you are looking for a place away from the crowds in Abraão, but only a 7mins boat ride away from the town, this is your place.

Exceptional personalized service by the staff. I can't say how much difference this makes. They really care! The grounds and the garden are like paradise, it is right by the beach. The kitchen is great and has this home style feeling. Breakfast has great fresh fruits, bread selection.

Transfer to the property can be inconvenient especially when it rains. Get a private transfer if you can afford it instead of transferring via Abraao.
