We had three family room and we had a whole attic for ourselves. It was perfekt with a bar right underneath it. So when the kids were in bed, we could enjoy a drink before turning in as well.

It was a bit dark, a little more light would be optional. But it was a really good stay.

Everything went great. Clean bedroom with private bathroom. Only downside was no little fridge ( maybe I was expecting too much) but apart from that all good. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and the 3 nights me and my twins ate dinner at the pub 😋 boys loved every bit 😀. A massive thank you to all staff members, nothing was too much for them. For sure I'll be back soon

"Sfeer en historie"

Alles was perfect maar zoals altijd bepalen de mensen de sfeer. Supervriendelijke en gastvrije ontvangst en wat een gezellig en historisch pand! Volgende keer eten we niet weer op de boot, maar pas als we hier zijn! Iedereen die met de boot van Hoek van Holland komt: neem alleen een snackje totdat je hier bent, want ook het restaurant lachtte ons toe..

The hospitality was excellent, and the facilities were as advertised. There’s a rustic at-home feeling about the place which makes one feel nostalgic.

Part of the cosy factor I guess, but one does need to be careful not to bump your head on in some of the top floor areas/stair-points as they are a bit low.

"Gastvrij heerlijk slapen in een ouderwetse Engelse pup"

Aankomen in een echte oude Engelse pub vol met etende of drinkende gasten. Het voelt als een eeuw teruggaan in tijd. De gastvrouw die je darling noemt. Heerlijk bed. Fijne douche. Kamer smaakvol en vol met authentieke details.

Ja, als je boven een pub slaapt, dan weet je dat lawaaierig is. Zo fijn dat het in Engeland om 11 uur sluit.
