Jackson's Falls Country Inn

Date night meal - truly delicious. Got Prix Fixe menu for dinner, and EVERYTHING was a winner. Highlights included the spinach dip starter (cheesy delight), the bangers & mash main (gravy, mash, meaty links - every element was perfect), and the deep fried apple pie which was insanely good. Warm, friendly service - and the other guests were warm and friendly too. All in all a great night. We live in Wellington so we will be making the trip more often!

Quaint little Inn Nice restaurant facility Dinner recommendation in Picton

We were looking for a typical Inn experience but were not lucky. We received a pre-message with all instructions (needs a bit of updating). We entered the Inn and our room at 6:30pm and at 8:30pm and left at 8:30am and have not met a single person. Restaurant was closed at night which is ok in the winter but breakfast service only started at 9am. As a female solo traveler be aware that at least in our room there were no deadbolts. You received a pin to open the door that is most likely not changed after every checkout and there is no way to lock the room from the inside.

Great staff and location. Very quaint. With some minor adjustments to the outdoor lighting, this place would be perfect for star gazing!

Room temperature was difficult to maintain at a comfortable level but not disruptive to the stay. Having the security glass used to make the bathroom feel bigger causes issues at night if somebody uses it since the light bleeds into the main area very brightly.

Cozy and comfortable while still feeling like you’re apart of nature as it is out of the busier towns, but still close to everything. You have the option of reserving the fire pit or a BBQ onsite. I also loved that the attached restaurant was a single room schoolhouse.

Not a ton of parking space, especially since the restaurant is open to the public, however this isn’t a huge issue you can park on the side of the road.

Everything ! When we arrived it was dark yet this place was nicely lit up from outside. The bed was amazing and the room was very big.

We ate breakfast and lunch at the restaurant and both were delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The location of my room ( Macaulay) is close to the entrance and restaurant. I could hear the noise from the restaurant until it closed. I could also hear every footstep from the people in the room above. This was a minor issue.
