Very clean location was great. Decent price for one night

Not used to a memory foam mattress so bed was a little tough to sleep on

Location is good as it’s within walking distance to restaurants & beach.

Well I took others’ advice and requested upon booking to NOT be on bottom floor as it’s actually the basement 🙁. Apparently no one reads the “requests” bc sure enough we were assigned a basement room! The receptionist said no other rooms were available and I “should have called them” bc Booking.com assigns bottom floor first! How the heck is a patron supposed to know this? I assumed requesting not to be on the bottom floor when I booked would be enough. That being said, she was nice and the room was clean. Fair enough for our 1 night stay but if it were a longer stay I wouldn’t have continued. I need natural light and if the curtains were not drawn on the high windows (the view is the same if you were a car tire), then all the patrons look right down into your room when getting in and out of their cars. We had to keep the curtains shut for privacy. Claustrophobic for me personally. Ceiling canister lights provide the lighting. For me personally, NOT what a wanted to spend $400 on for the night. I do have a suggestion for the hotel….maybe at least use a spring rod and curtain across the bathroom entry where the vanity is. The bed sits directly across from this area and when one person is trying to sleep and the other is in the bathroom the lights coming from that area are way too bright. I’m not a complainer in general and hate to say anything negative but I just want to warn others that if you are booking online at this hotel, don’t. Call them personally to insure you don’t end up in an underground room. Other than that I think you will like the location and cleanliness.

Clean, very spacy rooms, quiet, located in main street, walking distance from shops and reaturants.

Staff is so nice. The place is so clean!!!

The lock could’ve been more secure. I could only use the latch, not turn lock.

Nice place and town

Great location set back from Main Street in Niantic and across the street from Hole in the Wall Beach. Provided us with beach chairs an also had a few umbrellas. Room was large and immaculate -- really clean! We walked to good breakfast locations (Cafe Sole -- great!) and lunch and dinner spots. No need to drive -- always a plus for us.

Room was 'below ground' so rooms with 100 in the number. Not a problem just odd. The front 'below ground' rooms (side facing the parking area) would have been a problem as car lights and activity would beam in directly. Also, while the rooms were really well serviced, it was very late in the day for us. We had functions to attend that meant we wanted to be in the room by 3 pm yet either not serviced yet or in the middle of service. Also, when checking out (at 8:30) the office was closed -- doesn't open until 9:30.

Their was no bolt lock, the place is old and needs repair. The coffee is terrible. There was a cobstant loud shaking rumble above or below me, like a giant washing machine on spin. I didnt sleep well due tge shaking and noise and lack of a real lock on the door.

Very well kept rooms, enough space to spread out, comfortable temperature and overall a nice place for our quick couples weekend.

Some issues, but nothing that kept us from enjoying our time in Niantic and surrounding areas.
