Beaumont House

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hot pot, coffee, tea, fresh water and plenty of nice towels were provided. Quiet location. Close to bus lines.

Could have been nearer to amenities such as groceries and other restaurants.

Overall, the room was reasonably clean (to a domestic standard) and had everything you needed, including tea-making facilities, a hair dryer, USB sockets for charging, and a small ensuite with a toilet and shower. The bed was clean and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bar and restaurant were convenient, and the meals were good and hearty. Was perfect for a short stay to visit nearby relatives.

A few small maintenance issues need to be addressed. The batteries didn't work in the remote for the TV. The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working (switched it on and off to check), which has caused a little dampness. The carpet would benefit from a deep clean, as there was some staining.
