Six Bells Inn

An excellent, comprehensive selection for breakfast which was freshly cooked to order.

Only syayed one night for a short break. Very comfortable room, clean and friendly staff. Full breakfast is very good. Lively quite village location.

The room was basic but clean and had everything you needed. The Inn was cosy and traditional and the owners unbelievably helpful when we struggled to get a taxi to a party we were going to. Breakfast was well cooked and not greasy. Overall experience was brilliant we would stay again. Tip…If you plan to go of site in the evening book a taxi in advance! Next day no issues getting a taxi think it’s an evening thing.

Everything was fine.

A lovely quiet location. The staff are just friendly and welcoming. Our room was what we wanted. The food was great, well prepared and well presented and not expensive either. Our room was also serviced each day during our two-day stay, which is unusual for our experience from other places we have stayed.

I can't think of anything.

We liked the quirkiness of the main building and the accommodation block. It was so relaxing, and the garden was beautiful too. Breakfast was good, as were the evening meals. I was really happy that they were so helpful in helping me manage my gluten free detary requirements. The hotel seemed to be in the middle of nowhere when we arrived, but there were some lovely walks very close by as well as other amenities if we had needed them. We loved the location which we chose to enable us to visit several places in the locality. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of sotrage space and everything we needed.

One minor thing was that the decaf coffee wasn't very good.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious food and very friendly, helpful staff.

Bathroom was a little tired but exceptionally clean.
