Tudo, muito aconchegante, fiquei muito a vontade e achei uma gracinha o local. A localização é excelente, o anfitrião muito prestativo e querido. Assim como a moça da limpeza também! Com certeza voltarei!

The owner Marcus is super nice and makes you feel at home. In the evening he play good music. Plus the coffee in the morning is very good.

As much as I enjoyed talking with the owner, this place is old and run-down. This place is ideal for backpackers on long trips who don't mind things to be a little shaby as long as they save money and can use the kitchen.

The breakfast was quite complete and buffet style so you could choose and repeat something if you wanted. I felt safe in the neighborhood and returning after dark on my own. The owner was really nice and helpful wth advice and was quick to respond to requests. I think it's a fair price, though I was in a shared dorm room all to myself so that's just luck.

In general the facilities are quite old and could use an update/reform, but that also lent a quaint air that worked with the culture of this slightly unusual town. It was very quiet at the Hostel when I was there, in fact I'm not sure if there were even any other guests except one other solo traveler on the first of my two nights there. The location is not the best, though Blumenal is small so it is not a big factor like in a bigger city. I would recommend this as a very good budget option for a couple of nights or so.
