Windmill Bed and Breakfast

The location was good as was parking at the nearby car park

The Bathroom wasn't clean, there was dirt caught between shower glass and tray, pipe from toilet cistern was grimy and encrusted from hard water as was base of sink taps, there was a new stain on the bedspread - obviously hadn't been changed between guests tried to hide it by putting folded towels over it. Door at bottom of stairway between bar and outside was unlocked until pub closed, people were noisy entering and leaving pub. when we arrived we had to book in at the bar which was very busy. Note had been left to state room needed paying for, was able to prove I'd paid but had to wait until barmaid confirmed this with manager. Breakfast next morning was interrupted by a leaking pipe in a store cupboard and staff moving goods about. I did report all of the above to a member of the team as I checked out, and explained I hadn't the night before as I would have had to go back through the pub.

The breakfast, the room, and the location are all good. The management went out of their way to assist my booking.

The only problem was the shower in the room. Couldn't get it to work properly and the water was cold. I informed the room cleaners about it, and they said they would inform an engineer.
