The host did not tell us that getting to and from the property requires walking off-road on the beach through sand and water. It would be difficult for people with mobility issues, or even just with large suitcases. It requires planning, either to bring your own food and cook or walking to and from the restaurants, which are not reliably open.
ATActually we stayed at Casa Cielo, a wonderful bungalow up the hill which belongs to Casa Origin. In my opinion the best location at the beach El Almejal at the very end. The views are fantastic from the terrace, it’s a super cosy place and has all utilities needed. Alejandro offers exceptional thai-yoga massages and Stephanie does wonderful yoga classes. I can highly recommend to stay there.

BENLI always like to make a challenge of finding the most desolate and undisturbed places on the planet, and Los Longos fits easily in my personal top 5. It doesn’t get more off the grid and ocean front than this. Complete disconnection with everything and reconnection with your deepest self. The hosts are accommodating in every sense and their cat is the pinnacle of tranquility, in which I took a great example to mostly do the same.
