Warm welcome from staff, and kindling given an upgrade. Gorgeous , peaceful location. Definitely have the scotch egg if you dine there , excellent food.

Comfortable room with every amenity located in a great village pub serving good well priced food and drink.

Great food - from the tasty breakfasts to the wonderful evening meal options in the restaurant. The bar are has comfy spaces for relaxing and a cosy fire. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are slightly dated and the walls are a bit thin. Also, WiFi in the Coach House was intermittent so checking in with family and on weather etc had to be done in the bar/restaurant where the WiFi was good. There's no telephone signal in the pub.

Very pretty room and comfortable bed, nice atmosphere in the bar with locals also using the bar and resturant. Food was delicious, breakfast was really good especially the fresh fruit. Ale and other drinks were a good price. Staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Dog friendly also a bonus.

Wasn't the easiest to park, and evening meal was on the pricey side, although the food was good.

We loved everything really. Faye and the staff were lovely and made us feel warmly welcomed and looked after. Dinner was fantastic, our room was charming and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, plus a great selection of drinks from the bar. The pub itself is really well decorated with a warm country feel.

Genuinely. The only thing wrong. There was a slight ticking sound, rhythmic, like a clock in our bedroom that we couldn’t find. Didn’t really affect us. But was odd we couldn’t find it.
