Sa Rest Inn

All the features the room and the staff had were very good. We requested only the dinner, and the dinner was very good. The quality of the food, the serving of it, and the space to be seated and get the dinner were all very good. And also the balcony was the best part!

It has only one chair and one table. So, in a family room, in my opinion, there should be at least two small-sized tables or one larger table and two chairs. It was very good that there were mosquito nets (for each bed) and a racket for clothes. The table should be taller than the table was in the room we bought.

The staff was nice and the room was clean.

The guesthouse is on a busy main road and is constantly noisy with traffic. The walls are very thin, so you can hear all the noise from outside and from other rooms. I only spent one night there (though I had booked three) because I couldn’t tolerate the noise. In the next room, a party with loud music continued until at least midnight (I was fortunate to find earplugs and finally sleep). I messaged the owner at 11 pm but received no response. The town is also a 20-minute walk away along the busy main road. The hot water pressure was also very low, making it difficult to have a shower.

Les hôtes sont très gentils, à l’écoute et toujours prêts à aider / donner des conseils. J’ai pris un repas du soir qui était très bon. Le wifi fonctionnait bien et il h avait de l’eau chaude.

Il y avait de la moisissure sur les murs et les draps étaient tachés. La rue est assez bruyante et il n’y a pas vraiment de vue depuis les chambres du premier étage.

Le dîner était très bon le jeune homme adorable

La hospitalidad de la familia, la disponibilidad para ayudarnos, aconsejarnos, llevarnos con su tuk tuk a excursiones. Irnos a buscar y llevarnos al tren, servirnos té y café cuando llegamos. Tienen muy buen servicio de comidas. con buenas opciones de desayuno, comida y cena. Nos dieron servicio de lavandería y todo lo que les pedimos. Jarra para calentar agua, ducha con agua caliente. Mantas, etc. Muy amables y serviciales. La habitación muy limpia, grande y cómoda. Todo muy bien. Han facilitado que disfrutemos mucho más nuestra estancia en Haputale. Muy recomendable. Gente entrañable.

Todo nos gustó, aunque había bastante ruido del tráfico por la ubicación en la carretera, al segundo día ya nos habíamos acostumbrado.

Bij aankomst kregen we een potje thee geserveerd op ons balkon met prachtig uitzicht. De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij biedt vervoer aan van en naar het trein- of busstation of naar Lipton's Seat. Hij heeft ook goede informatie over wandelingen in de buurt. Het eten is super lekker! Ook het Sri Lankaanse ontbijt hebben we erg van genoten.

The place was really comfortable, we could have meals at the place easily and even last minute. The owner has a tuk tuk so he took us to different places for less than the pick me price.

Unfortunately the rooms are on top of a busy road and we hear each car that goes on it, it was therefore difficult to sleep. The place is not really well located, it is 20 minutes walking to haputale and the restaurants.
