5th Street Inn

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 children (4, 2.5, 10 months). We stayed 4 days and had a wonderful time. My kids and I slept on the Murphy bed which was comfortable. My husband slept on an air mattress but there was a couch bed available. We used the kitchen which was accommodated with strainer, forks, spoons, knives, cups, bowls, plates, pots, and pans. They probably had more but we brought our own stuff. We used the dining table, perfect enough to fit my family and they provided a high chair. Our room has a huge patio perfect for my children to walk around. There were a couple of chairs and a patio table. The bathroom was just enough; toilet sink shower, everything clean and water pressure was good and the water got hot quick. There was delicious Mexican food right across the street that we loved! Also the pizza place was so close and so delicious! The location is perfect for getting food, gas, gifts, and groceries. The pioneer grocery store had everything my family needed for groceries and was less than 5 minutes away. We drove to Yosemite everyday about 1hr away. The drive was beautiful as we rode along the Merced River the entire time. We are definitely staying here again . The only thing we would change is to request the bottom floor since we had little kids. The down stairs neighbors complained about us being loud and pounded on the ceiling aggressively but that was our only bad experience. Overall amazing time!!

Very nice small town hotel. Great location that is walking distance away from several shops. Facilities appear well taken care of. Room had everything I needed for a business trip. Keypad entry made for convenient entry.

Everything was great, but I would have liked a window to allow fresh air in at night. This is a small thing as each room has it's own temperature control so I was not uncomfortable in any way. It's a small hotel so there is no personnel available at the check in window 24/7, but the owner was quick to respond via phone calls.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Mariposa ist wirklich ein netter kleiner Ort. Ca. 1 Stunde Fahrt zum Yosemite. Zimmer waren sauber und es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit.

Tolle Unterkunft im charmanten Städtchen Mariposa. Unser Zimmer war super sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet! Perfekte Lage für eine Besuch im Yosemite NP!

nice base for Yosemite (altho still 45 mins to park entrance). property had small kitchen, fold out beds and was comfy with good air con. small space for sitting that had some shade. would recommend and stay again
