Grasshopper Inn

Everything was pristine clean and new. The bed and shower were perfect. The gal at breakfast was wonderful. The banana choc chip muffins were to die for...straight out of the oven.

I didn't like the price or the breakfast. The breakfast foods were extremely lame, had to pay extra for anything good. Although the banana choc chip homemade muffins were excellent. Also, I didn't like all the effort and blah blah blah- to buy more stuff, ie flowers, chocolates, towels, beach stuff etc. makes me sick (as if the price of the night wasn't high enough).

Second year in a row and loved it again. Room is spacious and clean. Mark whom manages the place was accommodating with our late check in and even once we’d left and realized we’d forgotten something in the room he helped to mail it back quickly!

Wonderful place to relax and be with extended family. The dining area was a great meeting area to connect with the other family staying there. So many restaurant choice's nearby and a short walk to the beach. The place is very clean and the staff helpful from the moment we got there.

Love the spacious rooms! Modern decor. Very clean Mattress was comfy Big bathrooms with glass doors for the shower. The staff was very informative. The staff was helpful from the time we checked in to the time we left. We will definitely be back!

Excellent accommodations Clean comfy and close to a lot of great food and shops .would recommend fall time for the beautiful weather and foliage. Mark at check was very hospitable, and a pleasure to talk to. Planning to go back again next year

What a pleasant surprise ! Upon arrival you have your own designated parking spot ,very convenient! Entered the building with a code that you will receive before your arrival that also will give you access to your room . At the front desk, with encountered Mark who was so pleasant and very helpful ! Our room was on the second floor ,(note,no elevator) . Room was so pretty,modern yet warm and coastal and immaculate ! I selected our room which was a bit smaller than some of the others because we had no separation wall because I like to watch TV in bed. Beds are very comfortable! Note there is smart TV , remember your streaming passwords ! The Bathroom was large and so nice and comfortable ! In the morning there is a beautifully laid out breakfast that’s included with your room rate ! Fresh baked goods,fresh fruit ,yougurt, breads and bagels and delicious homemade waffles made fresh by Joan ? Who was also really friendly! Wish they had had some breakfast meat though. Maybe in the future ! They also have a lounge with games and books ! Location was convenient and central . I really enjoyed our night there and wish we were able to have stayed longer ! Highly recommend the Grasshopper in !

This place is awesome. Staff is friendly and coffee is great. Clean big rooms. Breakfast each morning is a sunny open space. Short walk to the beach and shops. There a many great restaurants and cafes. Short drive to the outlets in Kittery and my favorite, the Trading Post. Recommend Grasshopper.

Love it! Rooms are large and very clean!!! The lobby has chairs and tables where my family hung out ,played games and talked. Also a short walk to downtown shops and beach. The staff was very helpful to find restaurants and local attractions. Will definitely be back next year.
