The position and the view

Could have had 2 chairs for sitting in the bedroom. No glasses in the bedroom. The central light in the bedroom did not work

The view is glorious. Looks across the Tamar to Saltash, and up towards the Brunel rail bridge. Dinner was tasty, well cooked, and good value. Breakfast, was the same. Plenty of coffee and tea in the rooms, which are plainly laid out, but comfortable and clean.

There was no heating in the room, and it was a slightly chilly May day. Not sure how comfortable either would be in the depths of winter. Carpet around the door to the balcony could do with a some care.

This the second time we have stayed here and both times have been excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable with walkin showers The staff are cheerful and friendly and the food is excellent.
