Room was lovely and the view was stunning too

We've stayed before, and always enjoyed a truly warm welcome. The room and facilities were squeaky-clean, and we had a view out over the river and of the two iconic bridges. It was New Year's Eve and we strangers were welcomed into the community of regulars in the bar, to celebrate The Bells.

There is always a dense scattering of cigarette butts on the ground outside the two doors into the premises. That is dirty and unsightly, and forms part of the First Impression. There has to be a better way.

The view over the river was superb, breakfast did not disappoint as it was cooked to order and very good.

There was nothing to dislike
