The Cove at Rockport Hotel

We stayed in Rm 8. Not the easiest to drag suitcases up the very narrow staircase. Unbelievably surprised at the TINY bathroom sink - totally deceiving in the online pictures. Toilet flush very noisy, sometimes doesn't flush properly. We had ocean view, but glass windows were full of spots/dirty, which obstructed view. Listened to people above us move chairs or tables around, slam doors in the very late night and early, early morning - very noisy. The small bathroom area and lack of space to place toiletries, suitcases was the worst. I would not choose to stay here again or recommend to others. The only positive was that the room was clean.

The Cove is an absolutely perfect spot in Rockport to enjoy the gorgeous views and quaint New England charm. the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the outdoor areas provide the perfect space to relax and take in the setting.

Location is wonderful and our room was clean, bright and upgraded. Bar was closed.. would have been nice. Can't it be open 7 days a week? At least in the summer?

The location could not have been better! Right on the ocean and walking distance to the shops, coffee and food. Cute and quaint. Will def stay again. This was charming. One note, you can hear right through the walls so bring ear plugs.

We wanted to be on the beach in Rockport so we booked this hotel on the expedia website . The evening prior to checking in the Cove at Rockport sent us a link to upload our personal information. Not wild about uploading private info but i did. They then sent me a link to follow for virtual keys ie codes. It was confusing and frustrating so we called the hotel and had to leave a voicemail. It seems there is no front desk or even in person check in work on the property! They called us back with MORE directions. When we arrived at the front door of the property it was the wrong door . Called again to find out they were in an office at the property but no one came to open please tell….WHY couldn't they simply get up and open the door a few feet away? For all this aggravation we then saw our same exact room #2 on their site for less money per evening for that day and the next nights!!!! Ever feel as though you might have had enough? The Cove itself is clean however small without any amenities on premise even a front desk. Not a bad place to stay once our rate was adjusted. If you would like to stay here make sure you know exactly where your point of entry will be because if you arrive after dark you are screwed!!!!!

Lovely BnB in a very good location. We were unaware of virtual front desk until after booking. It is hidden in the expanded part of description. Also two flights of stairs with steep third floor makes luggage difficult. These issues should be more evident in todays APPs when booking given no refund policy

Not crazy about unattended check in, otherwise all was good. If you add a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries it would be perfect.

Neat and classy

The room we stayed in (the basement of the Millbrook cottage) was spacious and clean. The kitchen was relatively well furnished (not a lot of dishes but ok). Overall our stay was pleasant, but we were surprised and disappointed by the level of noise coming from the apartment above us. Clearly this was not the other guests' fault, but rather a design flaw with the cottage. We could hear the neighbors as they got up at 6am every morning and ran around their apartment, and frankly we would not have chosen this place if we had know it would be this noisy.
