The free breakfast is superb, the location is accesible to tourist destinations and also they have generator set

There are no parking for cars, amd the wifi is not working.

My wife and I stayed at Room Cola Inn for three nights recently. The location is pretty central in San Juan, Siquijor. We payed more and got the ocean view and the view is actually quite nice. Room is nothing special, but at least the sheets were clean. The main fan was broken and same with some outlets. The bathroom was a whole other ordeal and that’s where our issues began.

We noticed that the toilet could only be flushed about once an hour and there was nowhere for toilet paper to go so it would get wet if you used the shower (tiny bathroom). We could live with that, but on day two right in the morning the water stopped working. We went over to the restaurant, which is attached to the property and owned by the same owners, and the staff said it could be hours or days as it happens often (the local staff were always nice and friendly). We received a message through the booking website that they would leave a jug of water several hours later and they did. A day passed and nothing. My wife asked if we had permission to use the bathroom at the restaurant and they said “for now we don’t have water”. They then said all of the city didn’t have water. I then proceeded to watch one of the young male owners (three or four of them, European, that live on the first floor) go over and use the hose and bathroom at the restaurant. I later noticed the giant water tank behind the restaurant and very obviously working bathrooms. The water came back on in day three, but no apology or reimbursement from the owners. It is very clear that these young guys don’t care about their customers or their experience other than maximizing their earnings to keep their lifestyle going. The restaurant is their top priority and the Room Cola Inn is clearly not and appears to have been going downhill for some time. Oh also, the wifi is shared with the restaurant so your wifi speed goes way down between noon and 9 PM. If you don’t use the bathroom often or like showering from a tub of water on the ground, this could be just the place for you!
