Alpina Monte Carlo Travellers Inn

Excellent location, right near the roundabout where you can catch buses and Jeepneys in all directions. It's also very close to 7 eleven and ATM's. Literally the cheapest I could find, avoiding apartments with more or less obscure addresses not to be found on any maps, or places that appear early on the list of cheapest, for then to add on 100%tax. It's a rock bottom budget place with small but big enough rooms. Old and worn, but clean. Private bathroom that actually has a proper shower curtain and sunken floor by the shower. Aircon worked OK, good WiFi, old and worn towels, toilet paper, but nothing else. There's a neglected rooftop where you can scramble together a table and BYO everything else, but at least there IS a rooftop, and it does have lights.

Only 1 single plug for charging. The weird thing here is that it's NEVER available for online bookings during the weekend! I mean literally never! Seemed so strange, that I took a chance, booked the last room available for Thu and Fri, and right enough, the place was nearly empty, even on Thu and Fri, and it was no problem to extend my stay with 1 night once I got there. I think they are losing out a LOT by this fluke in how they have set up the online booking. The table and benches out front, which you see on the pictures on Booking.com, are no more.

Room 1 floor down, WiFi details on door didn't match the WiFi they said to search for, plugs miles away from bed, no top sheet. TV remote worked but other didn't ( new batteries ?) staff should check everything actually works.

It's a very convenient location. Eateries, groceries, ATMs are all nearby!
