A35 Pit Stop Rooms

Good location for 1 night stop over Large room

Had to keep door & windows open when we arrived as over powering smell of air freshener

Everything you need around you, petrol, shop, gregs and subway. Room was okay, very basic but just what we needed for the night.

Shower had just a screen with a dodgy seal so leaked through whrn used a bit, needs a shower curtain really. No tea bags - only coffee in the room. No signs, only a b&b sign - had to ask gregs staff to help me and they were very informative. The texaco garage are the ones u need to talk to to get the keys

Some of touch up paint work was done in poor way Our jackets had white marks from that Lights in bathroom mirror didn’t work Bedsides lights not all of them works so leaves you in the dark to get towards beds Heating work fine that is good news

Convenient for my business trip

Rooms were a little cold, but then it is January

Location was a 30 min walk from the Axminster train station so convenient for us. No regular bus running so we walked which we didn't mind as we like a walk.

No signage to direct us into the Greggs /Subway to collect our key, room was cold all night, no control for heating on a February winter night, light quilt and no extra blanket! Room smelled, soft mattress & soiled stained carpet, not happy.
