Great location for exploring the area. Friendly staff. Yummy sausage and mash for supper in the pub.

Freshly made croissants and plain/greek yoghurt for breakfast would have been good option.

Large very comfortable rooms. Food is exceptional. Great choice of wine. Beautiful country location. Stayed here several times now & will continue to do so

The landlord and staff were weloming, helpful and friendly. The menu was well balanced and the chosen dishes excellent. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed.

Could have done with more electric sockets in the room.

We stayed in the pheasant which is in a separate building to the pub. Incredibly peaceful. Super-king bed which was one of the best hotel beds we’ve ever had! Lovely bathroom with great walk-in shower. So much space. And the loveliest view of a field and trees, with a small terrace with table & chairs. The perfect room!

Nothing! If I was being super picky, I would just say it might be nice to have a couple of extras on the full English breakfast such as baked beans, and some nicer orange juice/toast; and I only mention those things because of the high quality of everything else and we also had an excellent meal in the pub the night before.
