Very handy to the water

We thought we had a car space. That was a bit stressful when we did not.

Very good location, excellent food, and cheerful staff.

Food, staff and location were very good, but the bedroom was overpriced for what it was.

Good size comfortable room in a perfect location.

Not a dislike but just to note the rooms are accessed by a couple of flights of stairs.

The bed in room 4 was excellent

We asked for a room with no stairs and had an email from Booking.com stating this was confirmed with the property. The property had not had any comms with booking.com and all rooms had stairs.

No fire escape visible

Room 6 was clean tidy & a good size. again the bathroom was a nice size with a good shower. We couldn't fault the location just off the centre of town.

Although the hotel was open the Pub was closed for the first 2 nights of our stay. So there was no one onsite to check in with or ask questions which we found rather bizarre. A phone number was however supplied This should have been mentioned prior to our visit. When we book stays we like to have the option to eat/drink where we're staying. It's always nice to chat with staff to get information about restaurants, places to visit etc.. One other & more serious point if there are no staff onsite what happens in the event of a fire? there was no one to check with how to get out in case of a fire & no information onsite that I could find.

Great location in the centre of town. Allocated parking space a few minutes walk away. Room was of a good size with good clean and spacious bathroom. Friendly staff. Good pub food.

Too many narrow stairs up to the rooms. (But it’s a very old property)
