Location great and room was excellent. Ate there one evening and really enjoyed the food

Need to be clearer on some aspects. 1. Make it clear that food cannot be charged to room, so needs to be paid for at the time. 2. Check out communication could do with clarity. Booking states by 10am. We checked out at 9.30am and no one was around and everything locked up. We had to guess what to do with keys etc

Lovely stay. Room was spacious and very well equipped. Staff were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room, if a little noisy. Position for exploring the town was very good and useful food outlets close by.

Unable to lower the blind in the bathroom. A bit noisy from other guests coming and going and the kitchen (which they apologised for on our arrival).

The location was excellent. The area is beautiful and historical, quiet and yet central. The hotel is very close to venues, restaurants, shops and cafes. The staff were friendly during the brief exchanges we had.

The room completely lacked in aesthetics and in maintenance, making it feel more like a cheap hostel. This was most evident in the damage to a corner of the door and the missing handle on the window. There was nothing appealing by way of decoration. The worst part was the built-up dampness and mould on the ceiling above the shower, making for a not very inviting shower experience. Overall, I felt disappointed and uneasy about this accommodation, which made for poor sleep.
