The Loco

The host was really friendly and helpful. There was a welcoming, comfortable feel but also everything was very efficient.

The bathroom was very nicely done but was a bit cold and would benefit from a heated towel rail.

Great location for us. Ziggy and Karen and the staff were friendly and helpful .

No heating on in the room, although it did warm up quickly after the heater was put on.

The hosts were amazing, the food was excellent- dinner and breakfast. Would stay again.

Sadly only street parking but not a problem.

Very clean room

Had a lovely stay at the loco. The rooms are quit small but accomodate everything you could wish for, perfect for a short stay! The hosts were incredible and serve the best tikka massala. Everything was well taken care of and very clean, I felt immediately at ease after a long travel due to the warm welcome.

It's quiet on a Saturday night , you don't hear much commotion from the pub downstairs The owners were very nice and friendly .. makes me feel guilty for what I'm gunna say next but I kinda need to if they want to improve there rooms

There was a few things which we weren't happy with I'll just list them below 1.the bed was so uncomfortable that we didn't sleep a wink all night 2.not enough pillows on the beds we had 2 and managed to find 3 but they was so flat and uncomfortable to sleep on 3.when we got there I wanted to have a shower before we left for the party but there was no hot water . Ended up having a cold shower 4.old cobwebs in the bathroom so not cleaned very well 5.air conditioning unit doesnt really work at all .. wouldn't keep the room cool 6.every 20-30mins you would hear a loud noise which sounds like it's coming from the air conditioning unit system .. quite loud and if your dozing off it would make my missis jump out of her skin 7.the side door to let you back into your room is pitch black - no lights and you can't see where your going let alone find the lock to put your key in 8.the tv In the room is so small you can't see the picture and also a fuzzy picture on some digital channels so was hard to watch anything if you wanted to ..

Karen was very friendly and helpful, the room was on the smaller size but was clean and tidy and the bed was so comfy. The bathroom was lovely and clean with a modern style. We were there for a wedding so tbh didn't need to know about the area but it's a quiet little village street, roadside parking, and a coop close by

There was no light walking to the side door at night, but didn't want to walk through the pub even though it was ok too, but if it was closed by the time you returned it was very dark. Would of liked a slightly bigger TV as I'm as blind as a bat. The cold bathroom tap ran warm then hot before going cold.
