Manigelang Villa

It's very tranquil with nothing else around the Villas apart from nature. It's set amidst a beautiful garden, with many vegetables and fruits grown on the property. The sunsets are spectacular with mountain views all around you. It's a vegetarian restaurant option with very nice dishes to choose from. The rooms/villas are lovely and clean with filtered rain water, hot showers, TV, Filtered water, and comfortable beds and pillows. The owner is an accomplished painter and has a beautiful studio to admire his works.

There are no shops close by if you need any beverages, such as beer or wine. It's best to bring that with you. There are shops in the town where you could get any supplies before you get to the Villa. It is a good idea to organise a driver to take you and arrange for a driver to pick you up, as there are no Gojek or taxis near the Villa.

Our stay here was a wonderful experience. The staff is so friendly and attentive. We had 3 rooms, so we took a good look around the place (I'm not sure how many rooms there are in total). All the rooms were beautiful and clean. The view from the place is absolutely gorgeous. The food is also really good, and they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here. (oh and the dogs are so cute!)

The only thing I would say is that the property is far from everything. It's about 20 minutes on a windy mountain road to get anywhere. Which is not horrible, but did make a difference in how much we explored since getting a driver to go to and from there was pretty hard (the staff helps get you a driver for the day!). This is the perfect place to relax and do a retreat in the mountains, which we needed after a couple of days of hectic traveling through Bali.

Lovely place in a remote mountaneous area with a nuce view. The staff cannot be more helpful, kind and customer oriented than Manigelang. The accommodation is spacious and well furnished.

The location is like heaven. The view towards the green mountains is astonishing and the calm and peace away from the hustle bustle of the city makes it a perfect experience.

The food is very limited, tasteless, and vegetarian only. The cleanliness was questionable. I found a spider on the bed and a dog fur in my rice. Getting to any place requires hiring a private car which is costly. The roads are so narrow that I didn't dare to ride a scooter myself. The internet in the cottages is very poor. While the meals room enjoys a high speed Starlink, the internet speed drops significantly in the cottages making even a WhatsApp video call impossible. The shower head was too low and the bathroom ran out of hot water after about ten minutes.

Pas de piscine en construction, petit déjeuner simple et non comme noté sur le site. La nourriture est végétarienne et végane.

La vue sur la montagne au coucher de soleil et le calme du lieu. Le personnel très gentil et accueillant, qui nous a trouvé des scooters à notre arrivée, ainsi qu'un taxi pour notre retour. Le petit déjeuner très bon en quantité suffisante, et le dîner était excellent. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, on recherchait un endroit dépaysant et typique balinais et manigelang villa correspondait parfaitement à notre attente

Repas uniquement végétariens sans en averti par anticipation et peu de choix. Pas de boisson disponible autre que 2 jus de fruit (orange/banane). Petit déjeuner trop simple. Aucun paiement par carte possible malgré l indication contraire sur Booking. Vue des chalets sans intérêt. Piscine en création donc travaux en cours. Trop isolé pour pouvoir se déplacer à pieds et profiter du secteur. Véhicule indispensable.
