Coonawarra Ensuite Unit D

It's our second time here as a family and like it. It feels safe and quiet There's bbq available and spacious enough. The sheets and towels are fresh, we love it! Thank you. The kids love to run around and play in the big space.

A bit of pet hair on the bed base. You have to push/pull the toilet door with a bit of force to close/open as it's touching the bed base. The sof bed may work for kids only as you'd feel the spring. The curtains are short in width to give privacy.

Great spot near wineries and you can see stars at night. The cabin gives you a feeling like you are out in the wild but you still have the comfort of heating and proper toilets.

Beds were old spring mattresses which are a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

It was quiet and met our needs.

The price bookings charged was not the price I was charged seems they make up own prices. Charged $27.00 more than the price was. For that price we could have stayed in a 4 star hotel. Nota half arsed place. Not happy.

Place is family and pet friendly

The bed for the children couldn’t fit them both. Only big enough for one person not 2. The room smelt, I had to take the rug out to help with the smell

The property was described as Deluxe and was anything but. It was very basic and not what we expected for the money.we have been travelling and staying in properties for the last month and this was the worst we had encountered and the only bad review I have given.The facilities were covered in limescale or worse and were not well decorated or maintained.The glasses were sticky and the net curtains were grey and had holes . The outside furniture was grubby and rusting and the lake was a man made mud bath with railings around it -no view. The bed was very small and had a very thin uncomfortable mattress. we couldn’t relax here and couldn’t wait to leave.

We reached at about 12AM in the night, exhausted, only to find out that the room hadn't been cleaned after the previous checkout; after contacting the on-site staff the next morning she informed us that our room had been changed and made it sound like that this was all our fault. This was not communicated to us nor a note left.
