GBFairly quiet surroundings. Nice views across the treetops. Plenty of parking spaces. Only 7 chalets, so never really busy.
The restaurant and bar were not open on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Steep slope to get to the chalets. Chalets got very hot in the daytime. No fan in the bedroom. Wi-Fi in the chalet was very patchy and often dropped out. Freshly cooked breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Free-running guinea pigs, so be aware if you have an allergy. There is ongoing building work being carried out to improve the property.
GBIt was unusually quirky but very comfortable. The absence of television was not even noticed. Two very minor problems in the room were rectified immediately. The welcome we received on arrival was exceptionally friendly and the freshly cooked breakfasts were second to none. The “free range guinea pigs” were charming, if a little shy. Full marks to Will who is obviously making a great effort to make a success of this business.
There was nothing to dislike in our opinion.
