It was large, comfortable, clean and within walkimg distance to restaurants, activities, pools and beach.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property

53 Urban Place was perfect for us--4 friends who each had their own room and were staying for three weeks. It was spotlessly clean, had a perfect kitchen for our needs, a comfortable livingroom/dining space and 3 modern bathrooms. We knew the apartment didn't come with any local charm but we didn't care. FYI, the apartment is much better looking than the photos. The price was amazing for the size of the apartment. It had a balcony which was great to just check the weather and tons of light everywhere. Open, airy and with the BEST local host you could imagine! Jorge/George checked in daily to make sure we didn't need anything. And if we did, he was right there. We could walk to everything--the waterfront is a 5 minute walk, the farmers market is a 10 minute walk and downtown is about the same. We loved the apartment and it served us well. It's the best deal in Ponta Delgada!

The apartment had some traffic noise in the morning when people were going to work.

Had everything for a well functioning apartment

Place has lots of potential but currently lacks character. With what felt like minimal decor and design, it made the apartment feel less like a cozy home and more like a dorm for folks passing through.
