"Nice quirky affordable inn that takes you back a century without sacrificing cleanliness and comfort"

It's a place where you can disconnect. Great in combination with a hiking trip. Affordable for 1 person. Nice and friendly staff. There is an antique quirkiness about the place: you are encouraged to wear wool slippers that they provide, urinals and faucets are new but old school (you need to turn handles not just lift). Close to many hiking trails and you can explore the Rigi area if based here.

1 person bed is not the most comfortable and there is no private bathroom, gets expensive for 2+ persons and dinner is not cheap (but hey, it's Switzerland), walking to the hotel can be difficult if you are not in good physical shape, slopes are steep, but all to be expected given the type of place. Would recommend trying it out.

"A relaxing and calm atmosphere"

Nice and quiet location to walk around on Rigi. You can wake up to cows Walking in front of your window. Easy to reach by train and the staff is very friendly.
