Gasthof Bären Laupen

Property is average. Apparently the food is good but we did not eat dinner there. Large bathroom.

Loud location with lots of traffic. Too much smoke from diners outside in the restaurant.

Hotel is located in a lovely and quiet village, offering free parking. Easy access to Bern, from train station nearby. Room is clean and comfortable, furnished in traditional style. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Staff was on holiday, so the restaurant part was closed, but the innkeepers did prepare breakfast & made sure we had everything we needed!

Very traditional guest house. Andreas and hi as wife were very hospitable and kind

Floor boards creaked very loudly but manageable.

Great location, great restaurant, great team, great price.

The room I chose was a little noisy, but its price was accordingly low and really great in that respect and to be expected.

We slept very well in the beds. The breakfast was very good and there were tast surprises and the roast beef was the best i have ever tasted.

Unfortunately there was only one bathroom on the floor, so you had to wait longer before you could use it.
