Hotel Sula Sula

The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Julio was always looking at our needs and also was an espectacular tourist guide taking us to visit the Volcan Sierra Negra and also Minas de Azufre. Moreover, he liaise on our behalf with other tourist agencies and services in Puerto Villamil. We fully recommend his place to everyone and also ask him for tourist advice 😉

We loved our stay at Sula Sula. The host was incredible. Breakfast was great and they even offered to make us a to go breakfast. The room was clean and tidy. Fresh water to fill your water bottle up, daily. Short walk to every where. I would absolutely stay again we had a wonderful experience.

The owners are very friendly, the breakfast is good and the room was big and clean. They also let us stay more time the day we were leaving.

It was a bit noisy and not super close to the places we were going to, but this is no fault of the property.

Good internet connection, good price-value relationship considering the existing infrastructure in the town. Kind staff.

Still has room for improvement in service and quality, but that can be said about most hotel infrastructure in Puerto Villamil.

Sula Sula is a great place to stay when on Isla Isabela. It was clean, comfortable, with a nice breakfast and quick wifi. The family who run the hotel are really lovely and couldn’t do anymore for us. We also booked the Los Tunels tour through them which was a highlight of our whole stay in the Galapagos.

Best accommodation we had while traveling the Galapagos islands. Very clean, big rooms with really good AC. The staff is very attentive and helpful in all matters.

Beautiful corner room with lots of natural light and a great breeze. The shower was good, brekky was lovely and the staff were fantastic. Just outside of town, maybe a 10 minute walk. Would recommend— great value for money!

Peaceful, clean, friendly staff especially when catering for us as we were vegetarian and gluten free.

Sula Sula is a familiar hostal. It is simple, but very comfortable. Our room was very big, a lot of place to put the luggage and to hang clothes. Bed was comfortable, shower worked very good and air conditioner worked very good too. The windows have protection against mosquitos, so you can leave the windows open and get natural light. The wifi doesn't work very well in the room, but it works very good at the reception and there are a place with sofas also to use the wifi. The room was clean and the whole hostal was always clean, even though the streets in Isabela island are dirt streets. Julio and his family are super nice and welcomes you as family. Julio arranged tours for us, that were very good, kayaking and los tuneles, for a better price than other agencies. He also gave us tips where to rent the best bikes and what we shouldn't miss. He also arranged for us the boat to Santa Cruz. There is water for the guests to refill our water bottles and the breakfast had everything we needed: fruit, yogurt, eggs, tea, bread, jam. Check-in and check-out was so smooth, we got our room by the time we arrived and could stay until the time had to leave for the boat. Everybody on Isabela Island is so friendly and easygoing. We loved our stay at Sula Sula and can't wait to go back!
