Très jolie petite auberge confortable très propre. Chambre familiale spacieuse, lumineuse, cosy, excellente literie. Très calme. Très bon petit déjeuner, beaucoup de choix. Possibilité de dîner au pub, plats très bons carte variée.

Check-in un peu lent aussi car c'est le même personnel pour le pub et pour l'accueil. Le dimanche matin, le service du petit déjeuner était lent car il y avait une seule personne qui s'en occupait.

The Red Lion was very quaint with lots of original features. It was well thought out and even included toiletries such as cotton buds and make up removing pads. The refreshments were well stocked and we particularly enjoyed the delicious shortbread biscuits, these alone would warrant a 10/10 rating 😁 All the staff were very pleasant and friendly, helping us to our room with our bags. The young man at breakfast worked really hard to please everyone and worked very efficiently.

The only struggle for me was the stairs, however, we were aware it was first floor accommodation so it wasn't a shock.

The staff, helpful & attentive! The food, delicious! The location, peaceful & the field opposite for easy dog walks🐾😃

The weather was hot & I really would have liked a fan in the room. We were hot at night, a lighter duvet would also have been good 🤔👍

This is a beautiful pub with fantastic guest rooms and friendly staff. We were well looked after, the food was great. Lots of walking I. The area. 15 minutes from the city centre, quay and University.
