The location was great,close to the beach and coastal path The church and castel are nice places to visit The staff were very nice and friendly The manager was very good and made us feel very welcome We ate at the pub and the food was very nice with good portions It was a quirky pub and the entertainment when we stayed was good and fun the locals were very friendly We had the sheets and towels changed twice a week and the tea and coffee facilities in the room were good

The bathroom was shared but we knew that when we booked, it was clean ( it may have been a problem if the other room had been booked also when we stayed) The bath was quite slippy but solved the problem by placing a small towel in bath before showering ( the addition of a non slip bath mat available for the bath would be good ) The shower was OK and the water temperature fine

We had a charming time in the quaint village of Manorbier - still don't know how to pronounce! We were instantly welcomed and felt right at home. The pub had exceptional food, we ate there every night that they served, however not the most varied selection of ales - not that this was a problem! The location was gorgeous, the coastal walks were splendid and the castle and church looked very beautiful in the misty rains. The host kindly upgraded us to a larger room as ours was out of use for no extra cost. Overall was a lovely stay and would love to visit again.
