A pleasant change from the usual choice of cooked breakfast . Cheerful breakfast staff offering plenty of coffee.

Crab linguine was disappointing.

"Fantastic place, get a different room and check the bedding!"

6.0

Old place, 1600s in a very neat old fishing village

We were in room one, floor was on about a 3” lean, which is not uncommon in old places, but the bed was on the same lean. Would have been easy to level the bed with wooden blocks, and when I mentioned this, was told nobody else has ever complained about the bed. Was cold so got a spare duvet out of the cupboard and found it had bad stains all over it. Bit of a shock! I guess when it had its cover on nobody would know!

there were ants in the room and bathroom. The bedroom floor was slanted so that the beds also were. Difficult to sleep. The windows when they were opened were full of spiderwebs in the frames. Not clean enough. There was no hairdryer provided.
