Plume of Feathers

The property was exactly what you think of when dreaming of stumbling across a complete gem like this. The location was beautiful, the pub was charming, all staff members were delightful, the room was immaculate, the bed, perfect and the food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Perfectly poured Guinness was the icing on the cake. I look forward to staying again when I’m next in the area

I stayed along with my son whilst attending university open days in Bath and Bristol, which are both nearby. It is a c.20 min drive to the Park & Ride for the bus to Bristol Uni. We both loved our stay. The pub is a lovely traditional pub in a beautiful country setting, opposite a small stream, and with very friendly staff. We didn't eat there in the evening but had a drink in the bar and the food menu looked very nice. The bar also has pool tables and board games. We also enjoyed an evening walk nearby as it was such a lovely setting and a sunny summer's evening. We shared a twin room, which was nice and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. TV and tea/coffee making facilities. In the morning the breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for the day tramping around a university - cereal. fruit toast, juice and a delicious freshly cooked breakfast as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was all lovely no issues

The hotel is old and quaint. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast was cooked to order and a good selection of toast/cereal etc. will be staying again if flying from Bristol again.

There was nothing not to like. The mattress on our twin beds could do with replacing in the not too distant future.
