Very helpful and friendly staff, great evening meal and breakfast,

It was a quiet and peaceful stay (Monday night) The staff were friendly. It had a lovely hot shower and the room was warm. The breakfast was a nice choice. I didn't have a cooked breakfast so can't comment on that.

The bathroom needed somewhere to put your toiletries and things like a chair,shelf or hook

Absolutely beautiful location. Room was a really good size and had a great nights sleep.

Room was comfortable and very clean

The shower was only scalding hot or freezing cold - nothing in between. The manager simply said I had turned the controls incorrectly. It felt rude as I do believe I can operate a shower correctly, and if their shower required something different, perhaps some instructions would be helpful. I wasn't cross about the lack of shower, but the response from the establishment felt dismissive.

Would have like darker curtains or blackout curtains so it wasn't as bright when the sun came up but it's a minor thing. Really enjoyed the stay here.

A wonderful 300 year old property still in good fettle. A great location for our needs. Very comfortable with great food.👍

Parking is on the short side, we managed 2 cars no problem but we were the only people stopping
